Weight crisis: Nicole takes action!

Nicole Richie checked into an undisclosed facility to deal with her weight issues, her rep, Nicole Perna, has confirmed.

She says the Simple Life star is not treating an eating disorder and released this statement to LifeandStylemag.com:

"Nicole Richie has decided to undergo diagnostic treatment to determine why
she's not been putting on any weight. She is working with a team of doctors
and specialists whose focus is nutrition. It is important to Nicole that
she achieves this goal in a healthy way as this is not a treatment for an
eating disorder."

We wish her the best, and we hope she overcomes whatever ails her.

You know what....Nicole is anerexic.I dont care what she says her rep says anything.This gurl was trying to lose weight to get outta paris hiltons shadows and broden her path....but she looks awful..I am 15 and have friends who use to look like that but they got help and I hope she gains weight back because she is not a good role model.Twiggy little person.She needs help and I hope she gets it too.

this is just sad. i hate the fact that people are trying to cover up an actual problem. i think its stupid for anyone to believe that she somehow "can't put the weight back on." she can, proven BEFORE she lost weight! she wasn't the thinnest person before! she should have no problem putting it back on, its just that she doesn't WANT to put it back on. don't let her fool you. she needs help, and i'm suprised her dad isn't enforcing it.

2 years ago my best friend passed away from anorexia--she was so smart, funny and a great person; she could have done anything with her life---but instead she chose to starve herself in the pursuit of being 'beautiful'....BEAUTY IS NOT WORTH DYING OVER!!! GET WELL SOON NICOLE :)

Also, we have already heard about her getting help a few months ago. The girl is in denial about anorexia and her rep says what she is paid for.

Bottomline she doesn't want to get healthy because then she wouldn't be photographed or news worthy and she knows it! Sorry I like her but she is doing it for attention and her stupid father is going to say we aren't concerned about her. He is a fat faced slob(whom I love by the way). But you know she has a problem and instead of doing something about it you let her go... she is a mess and she knows it and she doesn't care because people want to see her. Get a job... do something with your life stupid. Be famous for doing something you idiot! Don't get me wrong I like Nicole I have since she was a chubby girl. But come on anything for attention isn't in your genes girl! You need to stop acting like your peers and keep it real with yourself!

I really don't think that we should judge her,because it's not our business to do that.It's her life and it's her body...in fact,i really understand her.If she's feeling good like that than nothing it's wrong with that.Maybe she has a problem,but she has to understand that by herself,without any pressure...and she will some day,believe me.Let's just hope that it won't be too late.
