Avril Lavigne's hitting a high note with a brand-new nose!
Now that Avril, 22, is a Ford model, it looks like the former punk princess has a picture-perfect nose — and she may have had some help getting it!
New York City–based plastic surgeon Dr. George Lefkovits thinks it’s likely Avril had a rhinoplasty — and a much-needed one at that.
“Her old nose was too short and bulbous,” he says. “The new nose has better balance and proportion. The tip is more refined.”
But not to worry: Dr. Lefkovits assures that a rhinoplasty like Avril’s (approximate cost: $10,000) won’t affect the resonance of the singer’s voice. That’s good news for Avril, who’s currently recording her third album.
(Experts consulted for this story submitted their opinions after reviewing
the featured star's pictures. They have not personally worked with any of the
celebrities)

Oh lord, what a joke. Those two photos are VERY different, taken from different angles, and she has different facial expressions.
She did NOT have a nose job... look at old pictures of her, and the new ones of her at Diesel - the nose looks exactly the same. She's always had a rather long nose (definitely NOT "bulbous.") Wtf?

Without several pictures from different angles for comparison there is no way to tell if there has been surgery. What I am sure of is that Avril has changed vastly since the beginning of her career. Initially, she became extremely popular by having her own unique style. The public was entranced because she wasn't just one of the blind sheep following the current fashion trends. Avril became a role model to many young women when she made it apparent that she was happy with herself and her choices no matter what anyone else thought of them. Over the past couple of years she has made many conformist changes to meet Hollywood beauty standards. When she attends red carpet events she has the same hair, makeup, and boring attire as every other cookie cutter doll in the market place. It saddens me to see that her spark of individuality has been dampened.

Well, she looks WAY better, (she was so gooney before) but seriously, if you are gonna have your whole image based on being different, then you gotta stick to it, or else the "faker" accusations will be twice as bad when the star changes something, rather a normal star who changes something. Too bad she dyed her hair blonde, though-now ALL of her genuinity is lost.

I agree with "Thisgirl", those pictures are from so different angles and her face-expression isn't even the same so you can't tell if there's that large difference. Come on, that kind of difference can be done with foundation. She's wearing so much more makeup in that 3-years-after-pic compared to earlier one you could think she did a chin-operation too. Well however, in her videos, from the side her nose looks just the same as before. So if she did a nose-job why didn't she also make it smaller?
