It’s not easy being Jessica Simpson.
Sure, she landed the lead role in Blonde Ambition, a loose remake of the 80s hit Working Girl. And yes, she gets to smooch hunky co-star Luke Wilson while collecting a hefty paycheck.
But between takes, poor Jess can’t find anything to eat!
The movie shoots in Shreveport, La., so one would think that Southern-girl Jess would be hankering for some down-home cooking after arriving in town. Instead, on Nov. 27, Jess and some pals made a beeline for the local Chili’s restaurant.
There, Jess went south on Southern food, opting instead for the Caribbean Chicken Salad, “but she only ate the chicken in it,” says an onlooker. “She left everything else.”
Then came lunchtime on Dec. 1 — the first day of shooting. It was love at first sight for Luke and the homemade gumbo provided by the set caterer.
“This is the best thing ever,” Luke raved, according to an on-set witness, who added, “He had his whole face in it!”
Jess, however, skipped out on the hearty stew.
“She’s not really eating while she’s working because she’s trying to stay slim,” the witness says.
See that, Louisiana? It’s not that Jess doesn’t like your food, it’s just that she likes her svelte figure better.
So until shooting wraps, someone, please, send this girl some Zone bars!

Please. Jessica does not have to lose weight. She should be setting a good example for young girls and show them that it's healthy not to be stick thin.

I agree with Emily.. Jessica, please don't try to lose your weight. Your weight looks fine. Stay who you are and stay with your weight. You look better than Vanessa.

WHAT THE HECK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What are you wearring you need to check with your stylist before you even think about walking out of your house and or hotel. Just because you look like a Barbie does not mean that someone else has to dress you. But in you case you are too stupid and ditsy to even know wear the closet is.
