Halle Berry has a new movie, Perfect Strangers, hitting theaters April 13, but her next project — becoming a mom — is much closer to her heart!

In the April 1 issue of Parade magazine, Halle, 40, reveals that having a baby is now her primary focus. “I’ve accomplished things I never thought I would,” she says. “Now my sights are set on a different chapter in my life, which is motherhood. That’s the goal I have very clearly set for myself.”

Coincidentally — or not — she also says that after a string of bad relationships, including two "horrific" marriages that ended in divorce, she's found a guy she loves and trusts completely, Canadian model Gabriel Aubry, 31, whom Halle met on a photo shoot 18 months ago. (That's him with Halle in the photo above.) When she first saw Gabriel, Halle says, "the molecules in the room changed."

The road to finding love with Gabriel was bumpy, to say the least, and Halle credits therapy for improving her self-worth to the point where she felt confident enough to be with him. “I’ve developed into someone who takes responsibility for my choices,” Halle says. “When I realized I had the power to change, it was eye-opening. It gave me a lot of hope.”
