Al Contadino is one of Berlin's hottest restaurants, but on a recent evening, anyone trying to peer inside got an unpleasant surprise: The restaurant was closed to the public, and silver foil was taped over the windows.
In other words, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie -- and their six kids -- were in town. They'd left France for a three-month stay in the German capital while Brad shoots the Quentin Tarantino WWII drama Inglorious Bastards. On Sept. 24, the day after the family arrived, Brad stopped by Al Contadino for a dinner with castmates, including Diane Kruger. "They were a joy to have," says owner Massimo Bianco.
