The death of Mark Ruffalo's brother, Scott, was a homicide, not an accident, the Los Angeles County coroner's office ruled yesterday.

Craig Harvey, a spokesperson for the coroner's office, says that an investigation has determined that someone shot Scott, 39, in the head.

Scott, a hairstylist, was found shot in his Beverly Hills condo early on Dec. 1 and died a week later. Hours before Scott died, Shaha Mishaal Adham, 26, the daughter of a wealthy Saudi businessman, turned herself in to the Beverly Hills police — but was later released. At the time, Adham's attorney said that Scott had killed himself while playing Russian roulette.
