Fred Armisen impersonates President Barack Obama on Saturday Night Live. Elisabeth Moss played Zoey, the daughter of fictional president Josiah Bartlet (Martin Sheen), on The West Wing.

And now Elisabeth, 26, and Fred, 42, are engaged.

Elisabeth — one of the stars of AMC's Mad Men — told usaweekend.com, "It happened just a few days ago ... It's private, so I don¹t want to share the details of how it happened, but I will say it was perfect."

The two had kept their relationship way below the radar until last weekend, when a New York Times story on Jan. 18 described Fred's visit to Broadway's Ethel Barrymore Theatre — where Elisabeth is starring in David Mamet's Speed-the-Plow — so he could play the Xbox video game Rock Band with the show's cast and crew.

In the Times story, Fred refers to Elisabeth as "my girlfriend, Lizzie."

Make that "my fiancée, Lizzie" now!
