Kate's golden night!

Her first time to the podium, as winner of the Best Supporting Actress award at last night's Golden Globes Awards in Hollywood, Kate Winslet was at a loss for words. "You have to forgive me," Kate, who won for her role as a former concentration camp guard in The Reader, told the audience at the Beverly Hills Hilton, "because I have a habit of not winning things."

Later in the evening, it was Kate's turn again, and this time it was an even bigger award, Best Actress for Revolutionary Road. This time, she was even more flustered.

"I'm so sorry! Anne, Meryl, Kristin — oh, God, who's the other one? — Angelina," she said, referring to fellow nominees Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Kristin Scott Thomas and Angelina Jolie.

Kate wasn't the only big winner of the night. Slumdog Millionaire won awards for Best Drama, Best Director (Danny Boyle), Best Screenplay and Best Original Score.

Mickey Rourke took the Best Actor award for The Wrestler, and the late Heath Ledger took Best Supporting Actor for his performance as the Joker in The Dark Knight.
