The usually connected-at-the-hip Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson haven't been seen together much lately, but the Mean Girls star wants to put to rest rumors that they've split.

"We never broke up," Lindsay tells Life & Style. "People don't have to be together every second. It's healthy to miss someone, and if you're in it for the long run, it's good to know that."

Still, an insider close to the starlet says the girls are dialing things down — to save their relationship.
