Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer had a rocky 2008, but they seemed to start 2009 off on the right foot. The couple headed for Los Cabos, Mexico, for New Year's.

But there was a wrinkle in their rendezvous: Jen checked into the One & Only Palmilla resort with pals Courteney Cox and Laura Dern (and their families) — while John stayed nearby at the Las Ventanas al Paraiso resort with his brothers Carl and Ben, says an onlooker.
