With twin Oscar nominations, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have a lot to celebrate these days. But as the couple walked the red carpet for the Japanese premiere of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button on Jan. 29, their minds were clearly on another set of twins. "Man, we're too busy dealing with Kleenexes and diapers and getting everyone fed to really celebrate," Brad said. "We'll do that next year."

In fact, wherever they go, Brad, 45, and Angelina, 33, never seem to lose sight of what's most important to them: their six children, including 7-month-old twins Vivienne and Knox, whom the couple recently showed off for the first time since they were newborns. And while they clearly love traveling the world -- "We're a very nomadic family, and it works for us," Brad says -- each time they choose a new home, Brad and Angie appear to have one basic question in mind: Is it good for the kids?

Now Life & Style has gotten a peek inside the family's newest home: a 22,000-square-foot house on a $60 million estate called Sassafras in Lloyd Neck, a tiny hamlet on New York's Long Island. The house is near where Angie is set to begin filming the spy thriller Edwin A. Salt in March. "If it were just Brad and Angelina, they'd be fine staying in a posh New York City hotel. But they feel that's just not fair to their children," says the insider. "Making sure the kids have a place they like while their parents work is of prime importance to them."
