Elisabeth Röhm: Why I decided to go naked

Rohm925.jpgElisabeth Röhm, best known for playing assistant district attorney Serena Southerlyn on Law & Order, is shedding the good-girl image -- and her clothes -- in her new movie, The Kreutzer Sonata. The actress, 36, sat down with Life & Style at LA's Mondrian Hotel on June 6 to discuss her latest body of work.

"I've played a lot of lawyers, cops and FBI agents...it really wasn't a part of the job description to shake off the uniform and let it all hang out," she explains. "But for this movie, the nudity was an essential part of the storytelling."

Before she could let the cameras roll on this dark drama -- in which she plays a pianist dealing with a jealous husband -- Elisabeth had to get past her struggles with having what she describes as her flat chest, cellulite and big butt. "I haven't had any plastic surgery," she tells Life & Style. "I'm a real girl. I hope women who see this will be happy to see somebody who they relate to, as opposed to somebody who looks like she's been manufactured." to," Elisabeth says. "He doesn't need those visuals in his head!"
