Actress Tatum O'Neal, daughter of Ryan O'Neal, paid tribute to her father's longtime companion, Farrah Fawcett, who died of cancer earlier today in Santa Monica at age 62.

"I am truly heartbroken by Farrah's passing," she said in a statement to Life & Style. "She was an inspiration to all women; an icon in her own right. She brought so much joy to millions, and there are no words [to express] how much she will be missed."
