Donald Trump's second wife, Marla Maples, is beaming about former stepdaughter Ivanka Trump's upcoming marriage to New York Observer owner Jared Kushner.
"I just think they're a precious couple," Marla tells Life & Style. "They're going to have a great life together. I've known Ivanka since she was so little, and it just makes me so happy, I want to cry!"
Marla was married to the Donald from 1993 to 1999, and became a stepmom when Ivanka was 12. (Marla and Donald have a child, Tiffany, together.) She says that Ivanka and Jared visited her about a month ago.
"They laughed a lot, and they're both so smart," she adds. "They're both super good-looking. So you have the laughter, the brilliance [and] the great looks, and now they're going to have this incredible love together. I wish them so much joy and happiness."
The former Mrs. Trump says that she has been studying kabbalah for about 10 years. She has talked to Ivanka, who has converted to Judaism for the wedding, about how great it is. "I love that they [Jared and Ivanka] can learn and grow together."
