Lance Bass is leaving La-La Land and heading for the Big Apple.

"I'm going to be based in New York while I work on a TV show," the former 'N Sync singer tells Life & Style. "I'll be going back to LA for work as well, but I'll be living in the Village. It's exciting."

Bass, 30, is no stranger to New York: Two years ago he played Corny Collins in the Broadway musical Hairspray. Lance is appearing in the comedy pilot, Rex, whose cast also includes Simon Rex, Jaime Pressly, Victor Garber and Paris Hilton.
