Is Mischa's insurance in jeopardy?

miscah-barton-931.jpgMischa Barton's recent hospitalization under psychiatric hold at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center could result in more than just a delay on her latest project, The Beautiful Life -- if she can't get insured, it could cost her future work.

"Could she be insurable on future films? Well, it will depend on what happens in this case and if she is able to complete the project," Andy McDonough, an insurance broker with Arts & Entertainment Insurance tells Life & Style.

As for Mischa's current project, The Beautiful Life, both the actress and the studio should be fine as long as Mischa's included in the insurance plan. "If the studio bought a policy and listed her on it, they're probably covered. If not, it would be very hard to go back and get insurance on her now. It would be like trying to get health insurance for someone who just had a massive heart attack."
