Screaming fans greeted Twilight star Rachelle Lefevre at Comic-Con International, the annual pop culture fan convention, in San Diego on July 23. But five days after reuniting with her castmates there to debut clips from the movie's sequel, New Moon, the 30-year-old was no longer feeling the love.
On July 28, Rachelle's bosses at Summit Entertainment announced that look-alike actress Bryce Dallas Howard, daughter of The Da Vinci Code director Ron Howard, would take over her role as evil vampire Victoria in Eclipse, the third installment of the hit franchise. "I was stunned," Rachelle says of the news, which broke a week before she was supposed to head to Vancouver, British Columbia, to start work on the film. "I am hurt deeply by Summit's surprising decision to move on without me."
