Since their twins were born on July 12, 2008, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have carefully kept them hidden away. After a brief appearance at a Tokyo airport in January, Knox and Vivienne practically disappeared from sight.
Until now. For only the second time ever, Brad and Angelina let the twins, now 15 months old, be photographed out in public. But rather than taking them to a quaint shop near their home in Brignoles, France, they made the surprising decision to take them on a trip to the Middle East, where Angie was meeting with Iraqi refugees as part of her work with the United Nations.
On Oct. 2, the foursome stopped into Licky Licious ice cream shop in Amman, Jordan. "Brad tried almost all the flavors," co-owner Ihab Fakhouri tells Life & Style. "Angelina tried a couple and chose mango. Brad chose pecan with vanilla and caramel. They gave some to the twins as well! They were really well-behaved, happy babies."
