Jon Gosselin has a strange way of saying he's sorry. Less than 24 hours after publicly apologizing to his estranged wife, Kate, for his immature behavior since the couple's June split, he took his most shocking and vicious swipe at her yet -- by allegedly draining the couple's joint bank account.
The move capped off what had already been a scandalous week in the drama-filled divorce proceedings of Jon and Kate. On Sept. 29, TLC, the network that produces Jon & Kate Plus 8, essentially fired Jon, announcing that the series would be renamed Kate Plus 8, with Jon assuming a much smaller role. Two days later, Jon sent the network a cease and desist letter, prohibiting it from filming the estranged couple's eight kids.
Appearing on Larry King Live that same day, Jon claimed he was motivated by peace -- not profit. "I don't want them to film anymore. I don't think it's healthy for them," he said. He added that off-camera time would also give him and Kate time to repair their relationship. "I want [us] to mediate," he explained. "I want us to become friends."
