Singing phenom Justin Bieber, who got his start by posting videos of his performances on YouTube.com, will release his first album, My World, on Nov. 17 -- and his debut became the focal point of a major-label bidding war between industry heavyweights Justin Timberlake and Usher. "It was so crazy to be in that position," Bieber tells Life & Style in an exclusive interview. "It's a dream for everyone, so I'm definitely blessed."

In the end, Usher won out, which is just fine with Bieber, who has idolized the star for years. "Other than being my music mentor, he's a big brother," says Bieber, 15. "We just hang out and have a good time." As for his personal life, Justin tells Life & Style he's ready to date: "I'm single and ready to mingle!"
