It didn't take long for the claws to come out in season five of Bravo's The Real Housewives of Orange County. The Nov. 5 premiere ended with tempers flaring around the dinner table as Tamra Barney accused co-star Gretchen Rossi of being "the hooker in Orange County."

Looking Gretchen dead in the eyes, Tamra made her feelings clear: "You have a horrible reputation. I want nothing to do with you." And the drama's just beginning. This season will find all six housewives rocked by scandal. Several have been hit hard by the recession, their million-dollar homes now in jeopardy.

Heartache also plays a big role, with marriages and friendships being tested to their limits. The worst part, according to Gretchen? Knowing everyone's talking about you. "In New Jersey, they'll flip a table to your face," she tells Life & Style. "Here, they wait until you leave the room, then start throwing daggers."
