Leave It to Lamas reality star Shayne Lamas thought she was sober after having just one vodka and soda with dinner, so she didn't think twice about going through a sobriety checkpoint in LA on Nov. 14. "I thought this is fine, that's why I chose to drive," Shayne, 24, tells Life & Style.
Unfortunately, she wasn't fine -- she failed the Breathalyzer test. "When the officer said he was going to take me in, I just started bawling. They handcuffed me. It was the most embarrassing, traumatic and scary experience of my life."

And it was equally painful when she had to tell her famous father, Lorenzo, what happened. "He was the first person I called," she says. "I told him the story, and he told me how disappointed he was in me and that it's disappointing for my little sister to see her big sister get in trouble like this." But it'll never happen again, she says: "What I've learned and what I hope others have learned from my mistake is that it takes just one drink."
