Model and reality star Jasmine Lennard, a close friend of Casey Johnson, opened up to Life & Style about the tragic Johnson & Johnson heiress' death.

"My deepest sympathies go out to her incredible family who did everything that they could to try and help her. I cannot imagine the pain they are in and my prayers are with them.

"Casey always made me promise if anything happened to her I would watch over her baby Ava, and with her family's blessing I will honor that promise.

"I will see Ava as soon and as much as possible, but I think it's very important to allow her family the time to grieve. I speak with Ava regularly on the telephone, but I don't want her to be upset right now with the association of me and her mommy.

"This is a tragedy. I am completely devastated."

Casey was arrested in November for allegedly breaking into Jasmine's LA home and stealing jewelry and clothing. The U.K.-born Jasmine, 25, is a former contestant on Britain's Make Me a Supermodel and an actress who was in the 2005 Guy Ritchie movie Revolver.
