Bethenny Frankel famously clashed with longtime enemy Kelly Killoren Bensimon throughout season two of The Real Housewives of New York City. But when the third season of the hit Bravo series begins on March 4, that feud will be a distant memory -- eclipsed by a new battle between Bethenny and her former pal Jill Zarin. "This is the angriest season yet," Jill told Life & Style exclusively at Kelly's Playboy cover party at Butter in NYC on Feb. 9. "There's a lot of hurt, a lot of pain."

Although Jill doesn't come right out and admit it in episode one, an insider says the fallout stems from Bethenny's not being there for Jill when Jill's husband, Bobby, was diagnosed with cancer over the summer. "It was a difficult time for me and my family, and the loss of Bethenny's friendship tore me apart," says Jill, 46.

Bethenny describes this season as "brutal." However, she says she tried her best to coexist with Jill. "I don't have any hard feelings about anybody," Bethenny tells Life & Style. "I'm too happy. I have too much to be happy about to worry about what's going on with other people."
