The Real Housewives of NYC's Jill Zarin is featured with actress Catherine Zeta-Jones on the animal-rights group PETA's Web site today as part of a poll on the worst-dressed fur wearers of 2010. There's one problem, though -- Jill's fur isn't real!
"I'm flattered to be placed next to Catherine Zeta-Jones, but I happen to be wearing fake fur," Jill tells Life & Style. "Adrienne Landau makes the best fake furs," she says about the garment she's wearing in the photo.
PETA-refers to their poll subjects as "fur hags and shriveled has-beens who drape themselves in animal skins."
"I'll be a monkey's uncle if that fur is faux, but Zarin's fondness of the real thing is very well-known, and something she's never denied," a rep for PETA tells Life & Style in response. However Jill tells Life & Style she can't even remember the last time she wore fur.
Jill's Housewives co-star Bethenny Frankel was featured in the "I'd rather go naked than wear fur" PETA campaign in December.
