The Millionaire Matchmaker's wedding-dress slim-down

Reality star Patti Stanger has lost 20 pounds for her long-awaited walk down the aisle

For years, Matchmaker Patti Stanger has been advising her male clients to "hunt and fish" -- in other words, to be the aggressor in relationships. Now, at the age of 48, she's finally been caught herself! "He's in his early 50s, never been married, no kids, a true commitment-phobe," Patti told Life & Style of her fiancé, Andy Friedman, during an exclusive interview on Feb. 3. "I had to break that stallion in."

Weighing 155 pounds at the time of Andy's proposal (last May 31, Patti's birthday), she decided that shedding some weight was in order so she can fit into her dream wedding gown. "I'd been gaining because we eat crap on set," says the 5-foot-8 star. "And doing the show, I haven't had time to exercise as much as I want." Still, by making just a few small changes, Patti has managed to lose more than 20 pounds and drop to a size 4. "I basically do the Precor elliptical every other day for about an hour," she explains. "I started at half an hour, and I've built up to about an hour and 20 minutes."

She's also doing twice-weekly turns on a vibrating Power Plate and using cans of soup as dumbbells to get Jennifer Aniston's toned arms. "I'm not done," she says. "I still want to get into a bikini. I'm like 10 pounds away from my goal. I want to tone up my arms and get more of a six-pack on my stomach. I'd like to be down to a size 2."
