Corey Haim's Dream a Little Dream co-star Meredith Salenger tells Life & Style in a statement:

"This is the second time I have received an early morning phone call that someone special has died. The first was River Phoenix and my heart broke at the tragedy and the loss. Now hearing about Corey Haim, I am again heartbroken. This time though to know that he had been struggling and tormented for so many years makes it all the more sad. I am sad that his last years were not full of the joy he deserved. I send my love to his family. And to him I say, sweet, sweet talented Corey, rest in peace."
