The Bachelorette's Ali Fedotowsky: a heartbroken past

Ali Fedotowsky will put years of heartbreak behind her before having a string of guys chase after her on the upcoming season of The Bachelorette.

Ali's first serious relationship was at age 14 -- with a local boy who was more than four years her senior. "He always used to trash her," a former acquaintance reveals to Life & Style. "They had a big blowout fight at the end of their relationship." Her next boyfriend left just as much of a sting. Her childhood best friend, Siobhan Christopher, tells Life & Style, "They dated for a long time and lived together for a while. They lived with another girl Ali was friends with, and it turns out he and the friend were sleeping together behind Ali's back."

By 21, she found her heart aflutter over high school valedictorian Dan Calnan. "But Ali felt he wasn't giving her enough attention," says Siobhan. "He was always playing video games." Luckily, Ali seems to have finally found her Mr. Right thanks to reality TV. "Ali is definitely heading toward a proposal and falling in love," The Bachelorette host Chris Harrison reveals to Life & Style.
