All bets were off when the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast gathered at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, N.J., on Aug. 4 to tape this season's reunion episode. "It was nuts, absolutely nuts," reunion host Andy Cohen tells Life & Style. While viewers will have to wait until after the Aug. 30 season finale to see all the fireworks, Life & Style can reveal that the hated Danielle Staub brought her gal pal, Lori Michaels, to the taping, and Dina Manzo, who quit the series because of Danielle, didn't even show. "Life is too short to put up with fools," Dina tweeted the day of filming.
The reunion comes on the heels of one of the most dramatic seasons ever, which included Teresa's filing for bankruptcy and Danielle's waging war on her castmates -- and Jacqueline's teenage daughter, Ashley. After taping the special, Teresa tweeted, "If you bet on what you think happened, you would lose."
Taping lasted nearly 12 grueling hours, leaving some of the Housewives emotionally drained. "I saw Caroline at Bobby Flay's that night having dinner with her husband and daughter," says an eyewitness. "She looked exhausted. She was sitting at the table next to Ashton Kutcher, and I don't think she even noticed!"
