Chalk it up to another case of mistaken identity, really bad mistaken identity. Contrary to recent reports, Tiger Woods has not picked up an apartment at the Printing House in New York City's trendy West Village, Life & Style can reveal. A headline on Usmagazine.com Monday read: "Tiger Woods Snaps Up Bachelor Pad in NYC," but today's NY Post's Page Six shot down the report, speculating that it could have been a publicity stunt pulled by a landlord to promote the building. Now, several well-connected media and gossip sources who live in the building tell Life & Style, it's not Tiger Woods who has been going around introducing himself.

"There's an African-American man who's seen frequently in the building and dresses like Tiger," one of the sources tells Life & Style. "He drives a BMW and is an avid golfer -- he's often seen carrying his golf clubs around. But Tiger definitely doesn't live here."

Even though the real Tiger doesn't live there, the building has been home to quite a few A-listers. "Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman and Anna Paquin have all lived in the building," the source tells Life & Style.
