When Whitney Port moved from New York City to LA recently, she was faced with the challenge of fitting all her clothes and accessories into her new closets. "I wanted a space that could house everything I own in an organized way," she tells Life & Style, admitting that she didn't even know what she had. With help from Lisa Adams, designer and CEO of LA Closet Design, Whit whipped her new closets into shape.

Want to get this look? Lisa Adams used The Container Store's Elfa Closet System, and Platinum Huggable Hangers. On the top shelf, Lisa arranged a row of Tweed Drop Front Sweater Boxes from The Container Store that incorporate a clear plastic panel in the front that allows you to see what's inside at a glance.

A tip for getting your stuff organized? Create an easy-to-use flow: Separate formal and casual clothes and create subsections within them -- pants, tops, dresses, etc. "You'll love just looking at it!" says Whitney. "But the best is knowing where everything is when you get dressed."
