Ruby Gettinger has dedicated years of her life to losing weight, but the Ruby reality star says that's not all she aspires to lose. "I will not die a virgin," Ruby, who's in her early 40s, exclusively tells the new issue of Life & Style--on newsstands now. "That would be horrifying!"
Ruby, who has already shed nearly 400 pounds of her original 716-pound frame, has never had sex, she says, because "I was brought up with this belief of waiting until you're married." She resisted even during her 8½-year relationship with her ex-boyfriend. The two eventually split up in 2001 -- he said he would marry her only if she lost the weight -- leaving Ruby heartbroken.
But now, all these years later, the Southern gal says marriage is no longer a prerequisite for sex. "I hope that it will come with marriage, but I would never say never."
