Dirty Dancing-remake director Kenny Ortega: I'd love to work with Katie Holmes!

Katie_Kenny_.jpgKatie Holmes sure is a hot commodity these days -- and now Dirty Dancing's original choreographer and the director of the upcoming remake, Kenny Ortega, wants to work with the actress! "I'd love to find something to do with her," Kenny told Life & Style during the So You Think You Can Dance press line on Aug. 10.

Kenny couldn't stop raving about Katie, his judging partner on the hit Fox dance series last night. "She's beautiful, and I thought she added such grace tonight," he tells Life & Style. "She has such a wonderful unique point of view about dance and art; what a lovely lady. It was great fun keeping company with her."

And with the Dirty Dancing remake in the works, Kenny also admits he's not looking for, nor is he expecting to find, anyone to replace Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, who played the original leads Johnny and Baby. But who would he love to see make a cameo in the film? Jennifer! "I'd love nothing more, of course," he reveals. "Wouldn't it be fun? If it's organic, it's right. She's smart, funny and a real triple threat."
