When The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Adrienne Maloof invited Life & Style inside her beautiful 20,000-square-foot home in Beverly Hills, it was easy to see where the new shoe designer got her inspiration!
"Right now, I have about 400 pairs of shoes," Adrienne, who used the shoes to help dream up her own collection, Adrienne Maloof for Charles Jourdan, tells Life & Style.
Aside from her love of sky-high stilettos -- "The higher the heel, the closer to God!" she declares-- the reality star and mom of three boys says she's dreamed of designing shoes ever since she was a young girl playing with Barbies. "I'd always pick the shoes first and then pick the outfit around them," she tells Life & Style. "I still do that even today!"
Now that her dream is a reality, Adrienne shares her fashion rules to live by. "If I could take only one pair of shoes with me, it would be a nude pump -- it goes with everything and elongates the legs," the 5-foot-3 star says, adding that a chunky heel with a short skirt is a no-go.
Also, Adrienne never shies from giving fashion advice to her husband, Dr. Paul Nassif. "I hate the beat-up slippers he wears at night and the white baseball cap he loves to wear, even though it has a stain on it," she tells Life & Style. "What do I love that he wears? Anything that I've picked out!"
