Kim Kardashian has gone old school in her mission to shed her baby weight.
The reality TV star, who gave birth to baby North West in June, revealed the secret behind her shrinking figure, tweeting to a fan yesterday: "I've actually been doing the Atkins Diet and I luv it."
Kim was asked about her weight loss after being pictured over the weekend looking svelte in her skinny jeans as she dined out with her family in Los Angeles.
A source close to the star said: "She is eating lots of lean proteins, healthy fats like nuts and avocado, carbs, fruits, veggies and cheese.
"She wanted to be a healthy, nursing mom and not toxify her milk with her diet or lose weight too quickly. She's been doing Atkins since her doctor approved it at the end of June."
The 32-year-old has stepped out in a number of show-stopping outfits in recent weeks flaunting her incredible post-baby weight loss - most recently on a trip to Paris when she stunned onlookers in a shockingly revealing Givenchy gown on a trip to Paris.
But if last week's episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians is anything to go by, fans will be seeing a lot more of Kim after she told her sisters Kourtney and Khloe she planned to strip off for a daring shoot to celebrate getting her famous figure back.
"As soon as this is done, I want to do Playboy or some naked shoot," she revealed.
The new mom recently came under fire for leaving baby Nori so soon after her birth when she jetted off to Paris with beau Kanye West for four days for the premiere of Mademoiselle C.
And rather than rush back home to be with her first born, the 32-year-old stopped off in London for a photo shoot, prompting criticism from sister Kourtney.
"She couldn't believe Kim left North for even one night", a friend of the Kardashian sister told Life and Style.
