Brad Pitt: My Family Comes First

In a new interview, Brad Pitt says his family is priority.
In a new article for Interview magazine, Brad Pitt sits down with director Guy Ritchie and has a lot to say about the film industry — but it was his honest answer about putting his family first before anything else that really caught our attention.

During the interview, Guy, who directed Brad in the 2000 flick Snatch, mentions how a lot of creative and practical issues go into making a film happen, one being how long it will take someone away from their family.

"Yeah. I want it to be worthy enough of a story to leave the family, you know?" Brad says in response to the filmmaker's statement. "They're everything. The family is first...I also don't want to embarrass them."

Luckily for the Oscar nominee, dad to Maddox, 11, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 6, Knox, 4, and Vivienne, 4, has a solid system worked out with their mother and his fiancée, Angelina Jolie, 37.

"We never work at the same time," Angelina has said.

After seven years of dating, the duo announced their engagement in April.
