Selena Gomez has a friend in Vanessa Hudgens.
While filming Spring Breakers last year, the two formed quite a bond — and now, Vanessa tells Life & Style all about their wonderful friendship.
“That girl is so smart, beautiful, talented and amazing,” the former High School Musical star gushes about Selena to Life & Style. “She’s got such a great head on her shoulders. I’m just there to hold her hand and have fun with her. I just adore her."
And the feelings are definitely mutual.

“She’s amazing. I feel like I want to be her. She’s been so great,” Selena recently told Life & Style about Vanessa. “She’s been such an incredible person. She’s fantastic in this movie and she’s a really good friend.”
In fact, the 24-year-old has proven to be quite a shoulder to lean on for Selena, who’s been in an on-again off-again with relationship with Justin Bieber over the past few months.
“It’s just nice to kind of pick up the phone….and have somebody understand and really know what you’re going through,” the 20-year-old songstress admits. “It’s nice. I think that’s the main connection.”

It’s no wonder these two have formed a bond. Both are singers, actresses and former Disney stars.
Something else to note? The pair have also ditched their good girl personas for their scandalous roles in the racy flick, Spring Breakers, out in March.
"I know that I have a younger following and I so appreciate that and I'm so thankful for that. But I did warn them in my best ability as I could. When I see the parents I’m like, 'Maybe [your children] don't go and see this one,'" Selena explains about the movie.
