Not every celeb sheds pounds during their time on Dancing With the Stars — and finalist Melissa Rycroft is proof.
“I didn’t drop any [weight] really,” the already fit star told Life & Style after her dance on the Nov. 26 DWTS part one finale. “That Samba outfit I wore in week three, I wore tonight. I didn’t take it in at all.”
But that doesn’t mean she hasn’t seen a difference in her body.
“I think it’s deceiving because I leaned out and you can really see my muscle definition,” she continues. “But I haven’t lost weight according to the scale.”

Though the 29-year-old has worked hard to land in the final three — she’s facing off against Shawn Johnson and Kelly Monaco — it’s not stopping her from enjoying the holidays once the season is over.
“It’s holiday time and I’m looking forward to putting some holiday weight on after this,” she says.
The brunette beauty and her partner Tony Dovolani will find out tonight if they’re taking home the mirror ball trophy. And if they don’t, the mother of one will not be let down.
“I feel like so many people think just because you don’t win the trophy it’s such a disappointment,” she confides to Life & Style. “I look at what we produced tonight [Nov. 26] and I think if that doesn’t win us the trophy, I still feel like we’ve won so much more than the trophy can even signify.

“I’m proud of us, I’m proud of Tony and his choreography and what we’ve produced,” she says, adding, “A trophy would be icing on the cake, but if we don’t win it, it doesn’t take anything away from this experience.”
To find out if Melissa comes out a winner, watch DWTS tonight, Nov. 27, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
