An eyewitness says Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy were "so in love" during a recent outing.

Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy are certainly crazy about each other!
The engaged couple showed off their loving relationship during the amfAR "The Inspiration Gala" in LA on Oct. 11. An eyewitness tells Life & Style all about the duo's romantic date night.
"Kate looked so happy, especially with Matt by her side," the eyewitness tells Life & Style. "She was conversing with him and couldn't stop smiling. The way those two look at each other shows how in love they are!"
At one point, Katy Perry performed at the lavish event and when she sang her hit "Teenage Dream," Kate lovingly put her arm on Matt's shoulder.
"They were both bobbing their heads along to the beat of the song," the eyewitness says. "Kate was flaunting her engagement ring."
And it's no surprise the pair are huge fans of Katy's. Right before her performance, the songstress went up to their table to chat.
"Katy surprised Kate by giving her a hug from the back so that Kate couldn't tell who it was," the eyewitness shares. "When Kate turned around, her face was gleaming with excitement. They seemed to be good friends, as they didn't let go of each other."
"Katy seemed to be close with Matt, too," adds the eyewitness. "They hugged and briefly chatted. Katy gave Kate and Matt a huge hug before leaving for her performance."
Even after the event ended, Kate and Matt were inseparable.
"Outside the venue, Matt held Kate with his arms wrapped around her, holding her tight," the eyewitness tells Life & Style. "Matt grabbed her hand and they linked fingers as they walked down to their car."
The couple began dating in spring 2010. Kate announced their engagement in April 2011 and three months later, they welcomed their first child, a son named Bingham.
