Katie Holmes sought comfort in an ex-boyfriend following her breakup with Tom Cruise.
Joshua Jackson, whom Katie dated in 1998, says he recently chatted with his old Dawson's Creek co-star when she called him! "Like any old friend, it was like, 'Oh, hi, how are you? What's going on?' 'I had a kid!'" he describes.
On the Canadian talk show George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight, the actor went on to admit that talking to his long-lost love was "nice; it was very nice, actually."
The actress and designer is currently single after divorcing Tom in June, but Joshua has been dating Diane Kruger since 2006.
Still, maybe this conversation will result in a Dawson's Creek reunion! "It would be fun," Katie's said. "I had so much fun working on that show, and I loved everyone so much and I think about it with such fond memories."
We'd be excited to see Joey and Pacey together again!
