Fresh off their honeymoon, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel wasted no time aiding Hurricane Sandy victims in the Rockaway section of Queens on Nov. 10.
“They ordered a whole truckload of relief blankets, first aid kits, and backpacks to put the supplies in,” an eyewitness tells Life & Style. “They were there for about 3-4 hours handing out the supplies until the truck was completely empty.”
"Justin and Jessica were passing out blankets to people and supplies in backpacks. They were being super nice and helpful and just giving words of hope," another eyewitness tells Life & Style. "The Levy Group was amongst them — the group partnered up with Dynamic Warehousing and Trucking company to deliver and distribute 2,000 coats to those in need."
Those affected by the superstorm in the area were very grateful for their generosity.
"Shout out to Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel for serving along side of us in Rockaway and giving the kids something to talk about besides Sandy," local resident Jessica Nortesano tweeted, sharing a photo (see below) of the couple unloading a truck.
And who was there to help them? Good pal and music producer/songwriter Timbaland is also seen in the photo with the A-list couple.
Justin and Jessica, who married on Oct. 19 in southern Italy and just returned from their exotic African honeymoon last week, aren’t the only celebrities who are pitching in to help the relief effort. As Life & Style previously reported, Lady Gaga donated $1 million to the Red Cross to aid everyone affected by Hurricane Sandy.
"Taking in the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy," Timberlake, 31, tweeted earlier this month. Jessica, 30, added, "Sending my prayers and love to New York City and to everyone affected.”
Two weeks ago, Sandy wreaked havoc on the east coast, leaving millions without heat and electricity — and taking the lives of nearly 100 people.
Check out how the stars are helping Hurricane Sandy victims — and how you can, too.
