Kim Kardashian’s heart was shattered after her marriage to Kris Humphries failed — but thanks to new boyfriend Kanye West, 2012 has been a lucky year of love for the reality star!
In a new interview, the star opens up about her relationship with the hip-hop mogul.
“It’s so nice to have a best friend in this game who understands everything you’re going through,” Kim, 31, tells Tatler magazine. “Being with someone I've known for so many years is comforting.”
“I can't even think about being with anyone else than the man I'm with,” she adds.
Kim goes on to explain how this romance is unlike any other she’s experienced.
“He’s been there through so many different stages of my life and before I was famous, so this relationship is a different thing entirely," she says. “It’s good to be aware that he definitely doesn’t want anything from me, too, because he understands the business.”
Though the brunette beauty is happier than ever with the 35-year-old rapper, she admits she always thought her previous boyfriends were the one.
“I’m such a hopeless romantic that I'll always believe the next one is the one,” she says.
Six months after Kim filed for divorce from Kris, whom she married in August 2011, she took her relationship with Kanye public. This came after Kanye rapped about falling in love with Kim in his single “Theraflu,” in April.
