Contrary to reports, Nicole Kidman says she did not counsel Katie Holmes after Katie split from Tom Cruise in June.
“I never spoke to her,” Nicole, who parted with Tom in 2001 after 10 years of marriage, tells Australia's Who magazine. “I wish all of them well, but I was not involved in any of that.”
The 45-year-old beauty also opens up her divorce from the action star.
“I got married really fast and really young,” she says. "But I don't regret that because it got me Bella and Connor [the adopted children she shares with Tom], and I did have a fantastic marriage for a long period."
“I have no regrets about all of it,” she adds. “It was all part of growing up.”
Now The Paperboy actress is happily married to country singer Keith Urban. The pair have one daughter together, Sunday, 4. In 2011, they welcomed a second daughter, Faith, born via a surrogate.
“I had so much time thinking that wasn't going to happen in my life and trying to understand that," Nicole recalls about the time she was trying to get pregnant with Sunday. “When it did happen — and for it to be a surprise — that was great.”
