It seems Simon Cowell is a bit of a softie when it comes to Paula Abdul.
Paula’s set to perform a dance to four of her number one hits called the “Dream Medley” on Dancing With the Stars tonight. And being that DWTS films next door to The X Factor in LA, she just had to pop by.
“I walked in and said ‘I’m back,’” she told Life & Style after last night’s DWTS. “They were like ‘What?’ It’s funny. I did that to Simon. I walked into his trailer and said ‘I’m back.’”
Earlier this year, Paula, who judged the first season of The X Factor, confirmed she would not be returning. So is she on good terms with Simon? It seems so!
“He said ‘My P. I miss my P!” the choreographer shares.

And just because she’s no longer on the show doesn’t mean she’s not supporting it.
“I haven’t been able to watch it all, but I caught some of it and have seen some of the talent, which is really great,” she tells Life & Style.
Though new judges Britney Spears and Demi Lovato have been a great addition to the X Factor, we can’t help but miss Paula and Simon’s antics!
