Lucy Hale’s not just concentrating on her career as an actress.
Life & Style recently caught up with the Pretty Little Liars star and she dished on her album.
“It’s amazing,” she tells Life & Style about the new music. “We started to record it last month.”
So when we can we expect a release?
“The album will be out this summer,” the 23-year-old says, adding, “A single will be out in the spring.”
In June, it was announced that the brunette beauty signed a record deal with Hollywood Records.
“I told [Hollywood Records head Ken Bunt I wanted to sing] country, so I’m going to do a country/pop album, and I couldn’t be more excited,” she said. “I grew up in Tennessee, so that’s always been my heart and soul.”
Music has always been a part of Lucy’s life. In 2003, she appeared in the reality show American Juniors, which was a spin-off of American Idol featuring younger contestants. She was part of a group with the top five finalists. Eight years later, she recorded songs for her flick A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song.

And her love for singing comes before acting, as she’s said, “It was my first love and I love music.”
