As Robert Pattinson prepares to confront Kristen Stewart, he opens up in a new interview, revealing he didn't see the cheating scandal coming
"[I] can't trust anyone," the actor eerily foreshadowed in a revealing new interview in the new issue of Life & Style, on newsstands now. Conducted just a day before Kristen was caught with Rupert Sanders, Rob confesses, "I'm quite hypersensitive. Sometimes it makes it easier to stand your ground if you're sensitive."
In fact, when asked if he'd ever been betrayed during the July interview, Kristen's poor, unsuspecting beau replied, "No...never by people who are actually in my life, like who are my friends.... No one's ever done anything, which is crazy."
The scenario was too good to be true. Little did he know that his 22-year-old girlfriend would be snapped hooking up with her married boss Rupert, 41, on July 17. Since the embarrassing scandal broke, the pair's contact had been limited to phone calls.
However, not wanting their first reunion to be in public on the red carpet, Rob's considering Kristen's persistent requests to meet up. "She's begging for a meeting," a movie executive who's worked with Rob tells Life & Style. "I think he'll do it out of respect for their long relationship, even if it's to say, 'See ya, we're done.'"
