Just two weeks after daughter Penelope was born, Scott Disick escaped for a party-filled trip to Miami, nearly 3,000 miles away from girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian, son Mason and his newborn daughter.
Insiders tell Life & Style that on July 22, Scott hit nightclub LIV with his posse and swarms of models in town for Miami's swimwear fashion week. "Scott stayed out until 3 or 4 a.m.," a source tells Life & Style. "Before that, he was drinking at the Setai bar by himself. There aren't many fathers who would go out of town to party after having a baby, leaving Mom alone with two kids."
The LIV encounter capped off a rowdy weekend for Scott, one that began at the Camacho Cigars Beach House on July 21 in Malibu. The next day, he chatted with scantily clad girls in a poolside cabana at Miami's Delano Hotel. "He was hanging out with a bunch of models," notes a fellow partygoer at the Delano.
Scott's absence has only made it harder for Kourtney -- and the new father is planning on staying away for a while. In fact, according to the source, Scott will be spending time in NYC to try to revive his foundering Japanese-fusion restaurant, Ryu. (The spot received zero stars from the New York Post.) "Backers at the restaurant want him in NYC helping to promote the business," a friend tells Life & Style.
"It's not good with Scott and Kourt," adds the source.
