Mr. Big is moving on and not looking back!

Chris Noth played Carrie Bradshaw’s dream man in Sex and the City, but the actor isn’t planning on checking out its spin-off, The Carrie Diaries.

“[I] doubt [I’ll watch] it,” he told Life & Style at EPIX’s premiere of Everything or Nothing: The Untold Story of 007. “I don't have much interest in those kinds of shows.”

And he’s not the only one who’s trying to leave the series behind – Sarah Jessica Parker recently said about playing the famous fashionista again, “I loved Carrie, and I don’t want to do the poor man’s version of her.”

“While those are often the lucrative things to do,” the actress admitted, “it’s more reason to look in the other direction."

The new CW show will be a prequel chronicling Carrie’s high school years. Actress AnnaSophia Robb, 18, will play the young Carrie in the show, which is set to premiere in January.
