Tori Spelling faced a lot of complications during her pregnancy with son Finn Davey — and it was hubby Dean McDermott who helped her pull through.

In the new issue of Life & Style, on newsstands now, the best-selling author and reality star, 39, opens up about the tough time where she almost lost the baby and how Dean, 45, saved her.

"Dean is my rock," she shared with Life & Style. "I had dark days, when I would say, 'Am I going to be okay?'

In May, the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star was left bedridden in a hospital as a result from pregnancy complications. Though she and Finn made it safely to the end of the pregnancy, her problems were far from over. Three weeks after giving birth on Aug. 30, Tori was back in the hospital when her cesarean scar opened, requiring emergency surgery.

"Dean had to answer those tough questions, like, 'Is Mama ever coming back?'" Tori tells Life & Style. "I appreciated him on such a new level after that.

"It just reconfirmed that Dean is my soul mate — he's the glue in this family," she gushes. "We are all such a bonded group now. It changed all of us. It really did."
