It’s the end of an era.

After six seasons, Gossip Girl is saying goodbye. We caught up with Chace Crawford, who plays Nate Archibald on The CW series, and he explained how the cast is feeling about the finale.

“We are all [sad that Gossip Girl is ending],” he told Life & Style at an H&M event in NYC on Oct. 23. “It’s a really nostalgic type of feeling.”

But is the cast, which also includes Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, and Penn Badgley, finding it difficult to leave it all behind?

“It’s been such a huge part of our lives for so long, but we are ready to move on,” Chace shares, adding, “I am actually taking some time off right now but I am starting to miss working so we will see.”

The show is set to say au revoir in December, before Christmas. The Sex and the City prequel, The Carrie Diaries, will take over the timeslot in January.

“We‘re just focusing on the end of the show and saying goodbye to everyone,” the 27-year-old says. “It’s been an emotional season.”

Though we’re sad the drama is coming to an end, we can’t wait to see how it all comes together.

Will Blake’s Serena van der Woodsen and Penn’s Dan Humphrey end up back together? Does Leighton’s Blair Waldorf marry Ed’s Chuck Bass? Who is Gossip Girl?

Until we find out… xoxo, Gossip Girl.
